The Lord's table

Take communion in the quiet

Set aside a small piece of bread and a cup where you are. Do this in remembrance of Him.

  1. Still yourself. Confess anything the Spirit brings to mind and receive His mercy.
  2. Hold the bread — the body of Christ, broken for you. Eat, and give thanks.
  3. Hold the cup — the new covenant in His blood, poured out for you. Drink, and give thanks.
  4. Sit a moment in silence. Let Him meet you at His table.

"This do in remembrance of me."

Luke 22:19

Deliverance

Walking through deliverance

A practical, prayerful path when you sense the enemy has had a foothold. Move slowly. The Lord is not in a hurry with you.

  1. Recognize the demonic problem. Name what is happening without shame — fear, torment, compulsion, oppression, a pattern that will not lift.
  2. Repent from known sins. Agree with God about what He has already shown you. Confession opens the door.
  3. Renounce out loud. Say: "I renounce every demonic covenant in my bloodline, every word spoken over me, and every agreement I have made knowingly or unknowingly."
  4. Release from the agreement and activity of those spirits. Command it in Jesus' name and resist the devil (James 4:7). Ask the Lord: "What are the activities and things in me that did not come from You?" Then release each one by name.
  5. Replace what the Lord delivered you from. An empty house is dangerous (Matt. 12:43–45). Fill the space with Scripture, worship, prayer, and holy habits.
  6. Resist. When it returns to test the ground, stand. Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee.
  7. Root in a church home. Deliverance is kept in community — under covering, accountability, and the ongoing washing of the Word.

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
